City Launches New Event Portal on Santamonica.gov

Website

The City of Santa Monica continues its efforts to enhance and upgrade its website with the launch of a new event portal. In addition to finding upcoming events and public meetings by visiting santamonica.gov/events, community members can now view events by location, category, and city program.

The new filters allow users to narrow down events by type, age group, place, program, or month. If an event requires RSVPs or is cancelled, moved, or postponed, the system will now prominently share that information on the top of each page.

The new system is fully ADA compliant, offers over one hundred different languages, works across all screen sizes, and is fully integrated into santamonica.gov.

"We're excited that this new event portal makes it easier for community members to find the events they are most interested in," said Joseph Cevetello, Chief Information Officer for the City of Santa Monica. "These changes continue our work to improve our user experience, system security, and commitment to providing greater access for everyone."
