Free Performance at Veterans Memorial Auditorium

The Performing Arts for Life and Education Foundation (PALEF) celebrates Veterans Day with a Musical Theater Retrospective.

The live production will include lively excerpts, scenes, and songs from the musical theater repertoire, including “Godspell” by Steven Schwartz. Event will include raffles, prizes and free gifts.

Directed by Charles Douglass

Performers include Parnell Damone Marcano, Deborah Sharpe Taylor and other special guests.

Proceeds will benefit PALEF's Summer Jobs for Youth Program.

PALEF's Co-founder and Artistic Director Charles Douglass says, "The mission of The Performing Arts For Life And Education Foundation (PALEF), a nearly thirty year old, community-based nonprofit arts education organization is simple.  We are an anti-gang and juvenile delinquency prevention organization. We provide meaningful opportunities and empowerment skills to youth and mature adults through hands-on training. We enable access and exposure to long-term employment within the multifaceted and multi-billion dollar performing arts industry."
