Mark Stainbrook, a law enforcement veteran with almost three decades of public service, has been selected as the next Police Chief for the City of Beverly Hills. Stainbrook currently serves as Chief of Police and Vice President of Public Safety for the Port of San Diego.
On Thursday 10/14/21, Santa Monica Police Department Officers responded to a disturbance of the peace radio call in the area of 2nd and Arizona. Comments of the call indicated a female was carrying a baton and hitting cars.
Today, City Manager David White announced the selection of Ramon Batista, Jr., a 35-year law enforcement leader to join the City of Santa Monica as chief of police.
