UCLA men’s basketball players Lazar Stefanovic and Tyler Bilodeau have been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as part of the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court. This marks the first time both athletes have received this academic honor.
Stefanovic recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, while Bilodeau, who is majoring in sociology, will enter his senior year with one year of eligibility remaining. Both players were previously acknowledged as NCAA Division I Academic All-District selections for two consecutive years, 2023-24 and 2024-25.
During the 2024-25 season, Stefanovic averaged 4.7 points and 1.9 rebounds across all 34 games for UCLA. Hailing from Belgrade, Serbia, he completed his four-year college career at Utah and UCLA with averages of 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game over 130 contests.
Bilodeau led the Bruins in scoring last season with an average of 13.5 points per game and also contributed an average of 4.6 rebounds per contest. Originally from Kennewick, Washington, he was named a third-team All-Big Ten Conference selection by league coaches.
The NABC Honors Court acknowledges juniors, seniors, and graduate students in men’s basketball who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 at the end of the school year.
