UCLA women’s tennis team earns ITA academic honors

The UCLA women’s tennis team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) with ITA Academic Awards. The team was named an ITA All-Academic Team for the eighth consecutive year under head coach Stella Sampras Webster, achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.

To be honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes, individuals must have GPAs of 3.5 or better for the academic year. Senior Elise Wagle, juniors Ahmani Guichard and Mia Jovic, sophomore Bianca Fernandez, and freshman Olivia Center met this requirement.

Elise Wagle achieved this honor for the third time, having previously qualified in 2024 and 2022. Ahmani Guichard and Mia Jovic were recognized for the second consecutive year, while Olivia Center and Bianca Fernandez were first-time honorees.
