The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) women’s tennis team, ranked No. 17 nationally, will play against No. 14 University of Southern California (USC) at the David X. Marks Tennis Stadium on Friday, March 27 at 2 p.m. Pacific Time.

This match is notable as it marks the second meeting between the teams in a month. UCLA previously defeated USC with a score of 6-1 on February 27 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. Since that encounter, USC has won five out of its last six matches.

Fans can follow live coverage and scoring for all matches played at David X. Marks Tennis Stadium through USC’s official channels. In-match updates are also available via the UCLA women’s tennis X account for both home and away contests.

In recent competition, UCLA split its road trip by losing to Michigan (3-4) but defeating Michigan State (4-1). Senior Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer reached her career milestone of 150 wins across singles and doubles during the win over Michigan State alongside doubles partner Mayu Crossley. Junior Ahmani Guichard achieved her own milestone earlier in February with her 100th career win.

Lutkemeyer was named a finalist for the Universal Tennis Foundation Hurd Awards on March 8, receiving a $40,000 grant to support her transition from college to international competition upon completion of this NCAA season in May. Crossley was recognized as Big Ten Freshman of the Week for a fifth time after winning all four matches during UCLA’s recent road trip; no other Big Ten player has claimed more than two such honors this season.

Head coach Stella Sampras Webster is celebrating her thirtieth season leading UCLA women’s tennis with an overall record of 551-206 (.728). She has guided teams to two NCAA championships and three conference titles while earning multiple coaching awards throughout her tenure.
