UCLA Women’s Rowing will travel to Tennessee for the Rocky Top Invitational on April 3 and 4, according to an announcement from University of California, Los Angeles Athletics.
The event is hosted by the Lady Volunteers and will take place at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge. The Bruins are set to compete with five shells during the weekend races.
Friday’s races are scheduled to determine seeding for Saturday’s semifinals. The results from Saturday morning will then decide lane assignments for both grand and petite finals, which are set for early afternoon.
The schedule includes several heats on Friday: the third varsity eight (3V8+) at 12:10 p.m., second varsity four (2V4+) at 12:40 p.m., first varsity four (1V4+) at 1 p.m., second varsity eight (2V8+) at 1:20 p.m., and first varsity eight (1V8+) at 1:40 p.m.
