The No. 14 UCLA women’s golf team will travel to Phoenix, Arizona next week to participate in the 60th annual PING/ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Club, with play scheduled from Monday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 25.

The tournament is a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event that will begin each day at 7 a.m. Pacific Time. The first two rounds will start on holes one and ten, while the final round on Wednesday will use a shotgun start format.

UCLA’s lineup for the event includes Meghan Royal, Jen Lee, Kacey Ly, Jennifer Seo, and Maye Huang. Angela Liu will compete as an individual. The Bruins currently hold a season record of 66-24-3 (.710).

Sixteen teams are set to compete in the field, including Abilene Christian, Arizona State (ranked No. 23), Baylor (No. 26), Cal State Fullerton (No. 40), Denver, Drake, Florida Atlantic, Hawai’i, Kansas (No. 36), New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Northwestern (No. 20), Oregon State (No. 47), UCLA (No. 14), USC (No. 2), and Washington.

In their most recent outing at the GameAbove Invitational from March 8-9, UCLA finished seventh out of eleven programs with a score of +19 (883). Meghan Royal led the Bruins in the final round with a four-under-par score of 68 and finished tied for sixth overall at even-par.

Five Bruins have combined for six individual medalist honors at this event; Bethany Wu was most recently medalist in 2019 with a seven-under performance.
