The UCLA track and field team will compete in the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Championships this week in Indianapolis, Indiana. The championship event has expanded to a three-day schedule, taking place from February 26 to February 28 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Fans can follow live results online. The first UCLA athletes are set to begin their events at 11 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, with competition starting at 8:30 a.m. PT on both Friday and Saturday.
All sessions of the Big Ten Championships will be available for streaming through Big Ten Plus, with separate links provided for each day. Subscribers to RunnerSpace will also have access to meet webcasts.
This season, UCLA has seen strong performances including three new school records by Keilee Hall in the women’s 600 meters, Michael Pinckney in the men’s weight throw (who broke his own record twice), and Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck in the women’s 60-meter hurdles. Both the men’s and women’s teams placed first at the Spokane Sports Showcase earlier this year. In total, Bruins athletes have achieved 28 new entries on the program’s indoor all-time top-10 lists.
UCLA enters the championships with nine top-five seeds across seven events: Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck is ranked second in the 60m hurdles; Michael Pinckney is second in weight throw; Celeste Polzonetti holds third place in the 60m hurdles; the women’s 4×400 relay team is third; Valentina Fakrogha is third in high jump; Taylor Snaer ranks fourth in the 200m; Paige Sommers is fifth in pole vault; Sydney Johnson is fifth in long jump; and Naomi Johnson holds fifth position in the 200m.
The event schedule begins each day at 8:30 a.m. PT, featuring multiple disciplines such as heptathlon, pentathlon, relays, sprints, distance runs, jumps, and throws over all three days of competition.
