The UCLA women’s swimming and diving team, ranked No. 23 nationally, will compete in a tri-meet this weekend against No. 10 Michigan and Northwestern, which received votes in the latest rankings. The event will take place in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Saturday, October 25, starting at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. Fans can watch the live stream via B1G+ and follow live results on MeetMobile.

This meet marks UCLA’s second competition of the season and its first away from home after previously traveling to USC for their opening contest.

During last week’s invitational hosted by USC, UCLA finished third out of four ranked teams. No. 9 USC and No. 12 Indiana placed ahead of the Bruins, while No. 25 Texas A&M came in fourth.

Several UCLA athletes delivered notable performances at the invitational. On day one, the Bruins secured six podium finishes. Sarah Bennetts won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.59. Senior Rosie Murphy took second place in both the 400 individual medley (IM) and the 200 IM events.

UCLA’s relay teams also performed well. The quartet of Fay Lustria, Sarah Bennetts, Jada Duncan, and Gizem Guvenc finished third in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:34.52. The team’s 200 freestyle relay squad earned another third-place finish at 1:29.77.

In diving, Eden Cheng achieved fourth place in the one-meter event with a score of 271.05 points, while Molly Brascia placed seventh overall with a score of 236.85.
