UCLA’s softball team, ranked seventh nationally, is set to begin its 52nd season with five games at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament and Mark Campbell Invitational. The season opener takes place at Easton Stadium on Friday, February 6, where the Bruins will play UC Santa Barbara at 4 p.m. and Northern Colorado at 6:30 p.m. Both games will be streamed on Big Ten Plus (B1G+). Fans attending the home opener will receive a complimentary schedule poster.

Following Friday’s games, UCLA travels to Bill Barber Park in Orange County for matchups against Oregon State and Utah on Saturday as part of the Mark Campbell Invitational. These contests will be available via FloCollege streaming. The Bruins conclude their opening weekend back at home on Sunday with a game against UC Riverside at 1 p.m., also broadcast on B1G+.

Single-game tickets for all of UCLA’s 20 home games are currently available for purchase. Fans can buy tickets online or by contacting the UCLA Athletics ticket office by phone or email. Holders of the 2025-26 Olympic Sports Card, which costs $110, gain entry to every home game this season.

The Bruins return after making their NCAA-record 33rd Women’s College World Series appearance in 2025—an achievement marking head coach Kelly Inouye-Perez’s eleventh time leading the team to Oklahoma City. This spring marks her twentieth season as head coach, during which she has guided UCLA to an overall record of 873-222-1 (.797), ranking her seventh all-time and second among active coaches in winning percentage.

Seniors Megan Grant, Taylor Tinsley, and Jordan Woolery—all named to the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List—headline a roster featuring ten returning players and eleven newcomers. Grant and Woolery combined for 49 home runs last year, while Tinsley returns as UCLA’s only pitcher from last season after posting a team-leading earned run average.

In their first year in the Big Ten Conference in 2025, UCLA finished second with a conference record of 17-5. The program set multiple records last season: they hit over one hundred home runs for just the second time ever; scored their second-highest run total; and recorded a new single-season mark with twenty-eight mercy-rule victories.

Defensively, UCLA ranked tenth nationally with a .978 fielding percentage—their best since 2013—and posted top-ten national numbers in pitching statistics such as strikeouts (470) and earned run average (2.47).

The annual Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament honors former Bruin Stacy Winsberg—a two-time All-American who played on three NCAA championship teams before passing away from lung cancer in December 2001. Since its inception in 2002, UCLA has compiled a tournament record of 101-10 (.910).

All non-televised UCLA home games and Big Ten road games are accessible through Big Ten Plus (B1G+), which offers annual and monthly subscription options for fans seeking streaming access to approximately thirty Bruins games each year.
