The UCLA softball team, ranked eighth nationally, is set to compete in the Judi Garman Classic at Anderson Family Field on the campus of Cal State Fullerton from February 27 to March 1. The Bruins, holding a 13-3 record, will play five games over three days. Their schedule includes matchups against East Texas A&M and No. 4 Florida on Friday, followed by games against BYU and Seattle University on Saturday, and concluding with Oregon State on Sunday.
There will be no streaming option for UCLA’s games during this tournament. Fans interested in attending can purchase tickets through fullertontitans.com. Live statistics for each game are available at ucla.statbroadcast.com.
UCLA enters the tournament after an undefeated run (6-0) at last weekend’s Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, marking their first perfect showing at that event since 2022. Head coach Kelly Inouye-Perez currently has 886 career wins and is two victories away from surpassing Sue Enquist as the winningest head coach in UCLA softball history. Inouye-Perez also needs 14 more wins to become the 53rd NCAA Division I head coach to reach 900 career victories.
Senior utility player Megan Grant has started her season strongly, reaching base in all 16 games so far. She is tied for the NCAA lead in home runs (11) and leads in slugging percentage (1.588) and OPS (2.309). Grant has also recorded two multi-home run performances this season and became only the second player in program history to hit three home runs in a single game.
Infielder Jordan Woolery leads the NCAA with 36 RBIs and ranks third nationally with ten home runs this season. Woolery recently earned her second Big Ten Player of the Week award after leading UCLA with 17 RBIs and four home runs during their undefeated weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
Both Grant and Woolery were named to the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List alongside senior pitcher Taylor Tinsley. This marks consecutive appearances for Grant and Woolery on this list; Tinsley returns after being listed last year as well.
UCLA’s roster features a mix of experienced returners—including All-America honorees Grant, Tinsley, and Woolery—and newcomers comprising six freshmen and five transfers. The Bruins are competing in their second season as members of the Big Ten Conference after finishing second with a 17-5 record last year.
Single-game tickets for UCLA’s remaining home contests are available online or by contacting UCLA Athletics directly via phone or email. Fans who hold an Olympic Sports Card will receive admission to every home game this season.
For those unable to attend games in person, non-televised UCLA home games as well as road conference matchups can be viewed through Big Ten Plus (B1G+), which offers annual or monthly subscription options for streaming coverage of approximately thirty Bruin games each season.
