UCLA junior Ahmani Guichard has been named to the 2026 Big Ten Women’s Tennis Players to Watch list, according to an announcement from the conference. Each university in the Big Ten is represented by one player on this annual list.
Guichard leads the Bruins with six singles wins in tournament play this season and has also recorded a team-high five doubles victories, partnering with Kayla Chung and Kate Fakih. She received her first Big Ten Player of the Week honor after winning four out of five singles matches at the ITA All-American Championships, including a straight-sets victory over No. 99 Divna Ratkovic of Rice.
Over her three seasons at UCLA, Guichard has compiled a 36-29 record in singles and a 57-20 mark in doubles. A highlight of her career came during the 2025 NCAA Championships when she won a three-set match to help UCLA defeat Vanderbilt in the second round. In the 2024-25 season, she notched 28 doubles wins and achieved a career-best No. 28 ranking in ITA doubles with partner Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer.
Off the court, Guichard has earned several academic honors. She is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team in 2025. She also qualified for the Big Ten Spring Academic Honor Roll and was recognized as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar last year.
