The UCLA men’s golf team has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season, with plans to compete in 12 events. The Bruins will start their fall campaign at the Sahalee Players Championship in Seattle on September 6-7, 2025.
This season marks Armen Kirakossian’s fourth year as head coach. Last spring, under Kirakossian’s leadership, UCLA won the Big Ten Championships team title and advanced to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, California, for the first time since 2018. The Bruins also finished third at the NCAA Auburn Regional.
In fall 2025, UCLA is set to participate in four tournaments: beginning with the Sahalee Players Championship hosted by the University of Washington at Sahalee Country Club. The team will then travel to Utah for The Wohali event, compete at Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish Classic, and play in the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational. These last two tournaments were also part of UCLA’s previous season schedule.
For spring 2026, seven tournaments are scheduled from January through April ahead of the three-day Big Ten Championships at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course in North Plains, Oregon (May 1-3). UCLA will host The Cooper Cup in Laguna Niguel from January 19-20 and then play at the Southwestern Invitational in Westlake Village from January 26-28.
The Bruins have one event slated for early February: they will travel to Kona, Hawai’i for the Amer Ari Intercollegiate at Mauna Lani Golf Course.
March includes three events: Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas (March 1-3), The Desimone Invitational in San Francisco (March 9-10), and The Goodwin at Stanford (March 26-28). In mid-April, UCLA will take part in The Thunderbird Collegiate at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix (April 10-11).
The Big Ten Championships return to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club on May 1-3. Following regionals held across six sites between May 18-20—including locations such as Athens, Georgia; Bermuda Run, North Carolina; Bryan, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Corvallis, Oregon; and Marana, Arizona—the NCAA Men’s Golf Championships are scheduled from May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad.
“Last spring, Kirakossian helped UCLA win the Big Ten Championships team title and advance to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif., for the first time since 2018,” according to a statement released by UCLA Athletics.
