The UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team is set to face Rutgers on Tuesday night at Pauley Pavilion, with tipoff scheduled for 6:31 p.m. Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast by the Big Ten Network, featuring Guy Haberman and Don MacLean as commentators. Radio coverage will be available on AM 790 (KABC) and SiriusXM channels.

This meeting marks only the fourth all-time contest between UCLA and Rutgers. The Bruins have a 2-2 record in previous matchups, most recently losing to Rutgers 75-68 last season in Piscataway, New Jersey. Rutgers enters this game with a 9-13 overall record.

UCLA comes into the matchup holding a 15-7 overall record and 7-4 in conference play. The team has won three of its last four games but suffered a double-overtime loss to Indiana last Saturday, falling 98-97 after rallying from a late deficit. Trent Perry scored 25 points with seven rebounds in that game, while Donovan Dent added 24 points and 11 assists.

Senior forward Tyler Bilodeau leads the Bruins this season with an average of 18.2 points per game, ranking him eighth in scoring among Big Ten players. He has scored at least 15 points in fourteen games and is shooting over 86 percent from the free throw line. Donovan Dent has averaged 13.5 points and ranks third in the Big Ten for assists per game at 6.8.

Sophomore guard Trent Perry has increased his production this year, averaging 12.2 points compared to last season’s mark of 3.7 points per game as a freshman. Senior Skyy Clark is leading the team in three-point percentage at nearly fifty percent over fourteen games played.

The Bruins have performed well statistically this season, ranking third among all Big Ten teams in three-point shooting percentage at just over thirty-seven percent through February second and seventh in free throw percentage at over seventy-six percent for the year.

UCLA has five regular-season home games remaining after Tuesday’s contest against Rutgers. Single-game tickets are available for purchase online or by contacting UCLA Athletics directly via phone or email.

Looking ahead, UCLA will host Washington on Saturday before traveling to Michigan next week as part of their February schedule that includes seven total games—four at home and three on the road.

Coach Mick Cronin continues his tenure at UCLA with an impressive home record of ninety-one wins and sixteen losses since taking over prior to the start of the 2019–20 season.
