Incoming freshman Lena Bilić has made a significant impact at the 2025 FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B in Lithuania. Representing the Croatian junior national team, Bilić has led her team to a 4-0 record in Group D, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.
The UCLA recruit will face Iceland in the quarterfinal on Friday. The tournament is set to conclude with the final on July 13, along with classification games that will determine each of the 21 positions. The top three teams will earn promotion to next summer’s FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket tournament.
Bilić’s performances have been pivotal for Croatia. She began the tournament by scoring a game-winning jump shot against Great Britain, contributing 23 points, six rebounds, a steal, and two blocks in 34 minutes of play. In Croatia’s victory over Norway, she added 15 points in just 17 minutes. Her impressive run continued with a 24-point game against Bulgaria, where she also recorded six steals and two blocks. In the final group match against Denmark, Bilić scored 32 points and filled the stat sheet with five rebounds, seven assists, and five steals.
Currently averaging a tournament-best 23.5 points per game, Bilić ranks first at the U18 competition. Her averages include 5.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game.
