The UCLA football team will travel to Bloomington, Indiana, to face the second-ranked Indiana Hoosiers at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, October 25. The game, which will be broadcast on FOX at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, features the Bruins on a three-game winning streak as they look to improve their record in Big Ten play. Local fans can listen to the game on AM 790, the new home of the UCLA Bruins Audio Network.
Tim Skipper has taken over as UCLA’s interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season following the departure of DeShaun Foster on September 14. Skipper previously served as special assistant to Foster and brings head coaching experience from his time as interim head coach at Fresno State, where he led the Bulldogs to a bowl appearance last season. His coaching background includes roles as defensive coordinator at UNLV and assistant head coach at several universities.
The Bruins recently secured a 20-17 win over Maryland at the Rose Bowl. Junior kicker Mateen Bhaghani made a decisive 23-yard field goal in the closing seconds. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava completed key passes to wide receiver Titus Mokiao-Atimalala, and running back Anthony Frias II set up the field goal with a 35-yard run. Frias finished with a career-high 97 rushing yards, including his first career touchdown on a 55-yard run.
According to Big Ten Network Research, UCLA is one of only three Big Ten teams in history to lose its first four games and then win its next three. The team has recently defeated No. 7 Penn State, Michigan State, and Maryland under Skipper’s leadership, scoring 100 points and averaging over 422 yards of total offense during that stretch.
Defensively, UCLA has shown improvement over its past four games, allowing an average of 115 fewer yards per game and tripling its tackle-for-loss output compared to earlier in the season. The Bruins have also recorded four turnovers in this period.
Quarterback Nico Iamaleava has averaged nearly 194 passing yards per game in his first seven starts for UCLA. He leads the team in both rushing touchdowns and rushing yards. In the win over Penn State, Iamaleava accounted for all five of UCLA’s touchdowns and tied a school record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a single game.
Wide receiver Titus Mokiao-Atimalala had his first 100-yard receiving game against Maryland and leads the team in touchdown receptions this season. Kwazi Gilmer has caught passes in 17 consecutive games and leads UCLA in both receptions and receiving yards.
Running back Jalen Berger matched his career high with three touchdowns in his return to Michigan State, becoming the first UCLA running back with multiple receiving touchdowns in a game since 2020.
