UCLA seniors Tyler Bilodeau and Donovan Dent were recognized on March 10 with All-Big Ten Conference honors, according to an announcement from the conference office.
The recognition highlights the achievements of both players as UCLA prepares for the upcoming Big Ten Tournament. Bilodeau was named to the third-team All-Big Ten by both coaches and media, while Dent received honorable mention from both groups.
Bilodeau, a 6-foot-9 forward from Kennewick, Washington, is among 15 student-athletes selected for All-Big Ten teams. He also earned a spot on the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Sportsmanship Team. This marks his second consecutive season as a third-team all-league selection. Bilodeau transferred to UCLA in summer 2024 after two years at Oregon State and has scored in double figures in 26 of 29 games this season. He ranks tenth in scoring (18 points per game), first in three-point shooting percentage (46.2%), fifth in field goal percentage (51.8%), and eighth in free throw percentage (86.5%) among all Big Ten players.
Dent, a 6-foot-2 senior from Riverside, California, has averaged 13.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and leads the team with 7.5 assists per game. He enters the tournament ranked fourth nationally in assists per game and sixth in assist-turnover ratio. Dent has recorded ten or more assists in eight games this season and achieved seven double-doubles.
Other conference awards include Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg as Player of the Year, Illinois’ Keaton Wagler as Freshman of the Year, Michigan’s Aday Mara as Defensive Player of the Year, Nebraska’s Braden Frager as Sixth Man of the Year, Dusty May of Michigan as Coach of the Year by media vote, and Fred Hoiberg of Nebraska as Coach of the Year by coaches’ vote.
UCLA will enter this year’s Big Ten Tournament as the No. 6 seed and is set to play either Minnesota or Rutgers on Thursday evening at approximately 6 p.m. Pacific Time at Chicago’s United Center.
