UCLA men’s basketball seniors Tyler Bilodeau and Donovan Dent were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Pacific District first team, according to a March 17 announcement by the NABC.

The recognition highlights the achievements of both players during the current season. Bilodeau and Dent are among ten student-athletes selected for first-team honors in the district, reflecting their strong performances on the court.

Bilodeau, a senior forward from Kennewick, Washington, has led UCLA with an average of 17.6 points per game this season. He ranks twelfth among all Big Ten players in scoring and is fourth in field goal percentage at 51.8 percent. Bilodeau also leads the Big Ten in three-point shooting percentage at 46.4 percent through 31 games. This is his second time earning NABC All-District honors; he previously played two seasons at Oregon State before transferring to UCLA in summer 2024.

Dent, a senior guard from Riverside, California, has averaged 13.5 points and 7.6 assists per game over 33 contests this season. As of Sunday’s games, he ranked fourth nationally in assists per game and fifth in assist-turnover ratio at 4.0. Last week, Dent recorded the first-ever triple-double in Big Ten Tournament history with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists during UCLA’s win over Rutgers. He has achieved nine double-doubles this season and scored a season-high against USC on February 24.

This marks Dent’s third consecutive year receiving first-team All-District recognition from the NABC; he earned similar honors while playing for New Mexico during the previous two seasons.

Other student-athletes joining Bilodeau and Dent on the first team include Chad Baker-Mazara (USC), Dominique Daniels Jr. (Cal Baptist), Christian Hammond (Santa Clara), Graham Ike (Gonzaga), Isaac Johnson (Hawaii), Paulius Murauska (Saint Mary’s), Ebuka Okorie (Stanford), and Hannes Steinbach (Washington). The NABC names ten athletes each to its first- and second-team honorees.

UCLA enters the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed with a record of 23-11 and will face No.10-seed UCF on Friday in Philadelphia at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The game is scheduled for national broadcast on TBS.
