The top-ranked UCLA baseball team will end its nine-game homestand with a matchup against Loyola Marymount on March 24 at Jackie Robinson Stadium. The game is set for a 6 p.m. start and will be broadcast on B1G+, with Nick Koop and Sid Iyer providing commentary.

This contest follows an impressive stretch for the Bruins, who are currently ranked No. 1 by all major outlets and have started the season with a record of 21-2, their best since opening 22-0 in 2010. UCLA is riding a 15-game winning streak, the second-longest in program history, and has begun Big Ten play with nine consecutive victories—another program best.

During this run, UCLA has outscored opponents by a margin of 144-51. Key contributors include Mulivai Levu, who leads the team in hitting with a .385 average, six home runs, and 28 RBIs; Wylan Moss, who was recently named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List after allowing just one earned run over more than twenty-two innings; and Will Gasparino, recognized as Most Outstanding Player at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series.

The projected pitching matchup features freshman right-hander Angel Cervantes for UCLA (1-0 record) facing graduate right-hander Jake Geis for Loyola Marymount (0-3 record). LMU enters this season having rebuilt much of its lineup but brings back several experienced pitchers along with promising newcomers.

Looking ahead to Tuesday’s game, fans can follow live stats online or receive updates via social media. The Bruins aim to extend their winning streak as they continue their strong start to conference play.
