Former UCLA football players Alec Anderson, Carson Steele, and Colson Yankoff will participate in the NFL playoff conference-championship round this weekend. They contributed to their teams’ victories in the divisional round. Meanwhile, Ka’imi Fairbairn and Quentin Lake concluded their seasons after notable performances.

Ka’imi Fairbairn of the Houston Texans made field goals from 48 and 30 yards in a 23-14 loss at Kansas City but missed from 55 and 35 yards. He also kicked off four times and had an extra point miss wide right. Fairbairn’s season total of 142 points was the second highest of his career. He successfully converted 13 out of 16 field-goal attempts from beyond 50 yards, having never made more than six such kicks in previous seasons.

Quentin Lake of the Los Angeles Rams recorded five tackles and deflected a pass during the Rams’ 28-22 defeat in Philadelphia. Over the season, he accumulated 111 tackles, surpassing his previous career high by more than double, and added two sacks.

Alec Anderson (Buffalo Bills), Carson Steele (Kansas City Chiefs), and Colson Yankoff (Washington Commanders) participated in their respective games but did not record any statistics.
