Wildfire season is intensifying in the Western U.S., with significant activity in Southern California's Line Fire, Bridge Fire, and Airport Fire. Developments are also raising concerns for Nevada’s Davis Fire.
UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain will provide updates and context on these wildfires during a session on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m. PT.
“I'll discuss the rapidly evolving wildfire situation in Southern California as well as the ‘particularly dangerous’ conditions unfolding on the Davis Fire south of Reno, Nevada,” Swain stated.
