Arrest of Interest:
On August 5th at approximately 10:45pm, officers observed a vehicle without license plates near Arizona and 4th Street and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle's occupants were found to be in possession of burglary tools (bolt cutters glass window punches and screw drivers), ski masks, gloves, empty duffle bags, and tear gas. The driver, Michael Rodriguez, from Pasadena, was unlicensed and on probation for burglary. Additional passengers were also found to be on parole for burglary. Ultimately, the traffic stop resulted in three individuals being arrested for vehicle code violations, alcohol consumption, parole violations and possession of burglary tools. The vehicle was also impounded.
