Brentwood School issued the following announcement on June 10.
As we move into summer, leaving behind a full year of learning in person, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of our community—students, parents, guardians, faculty, staff, trustees, and administrators. It has been a reinvigorating, challenging, and inspiring year.
We have been reinvigorated this year, thanks to a long-anticipated and much-needed return to our classrooms, studios, labs, libraries, theaters, and athletic fields. We have been challenged by our collective efforts to find solutions, build community, and understand each other with empathy and an open heart. And we have been inspired by one another, and especially by our students—their resilience, enthusiasm, and kindness. It has been a beautiful, and much needed year at school.
