84 percent of applicants to Mount Saint Mary's University were admitted for fall 2018

At Mount Saint Mary's University, 76 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 94 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Los Angeles enrolled 2,965 students in fall 2018, including 2,356 in undergraduate and 609 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (61 percent) and Asian (16 percent).

The school admitted 84 percent of the 2,169 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
