On Thursday, March 20, former Pacifica Christian High School standout Riyaan Jiwani’s current collegiate team the NYU Violets won 72-60 against the Washington Bears in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Washington Bears during the championship.
The NYU Violets’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum against Trinity Bantams.
Riyaan Jiwani’s hometown is Buena Park and game position is guard.
