Former Santa Monica High School standout Brett Edwards and his current college team, the Redlands Bulldogs, claimed a 14-9 win over the Willamette Bearcats in an NCAA Division III baseball game at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 15.
The matchup was held at The Yard and marked the Bulldogs’ first game against the Bearcats this season.
Edwards pitched 2.2 innings, surrendering three earned runs with one walk and one strikeout.
The Bulldogs will face the Caltech Beavers in their next contest, scheduled for Friday, March 27, at 3 p.m. at The Yard.
