Former Santa Monica High School standout Jackson Klein contributed on the mound as the Manhattan Jaspers claimed a 6-5 win over the Quinnipiac Bobcats in their NCAA Division I baseball contest at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 20.

Clover Stadium hosted the matchup, which marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Klein took the mound for 2.1 innings and tallied one strikeout.

The Jaspers are set to face the Bobcats again at Clover Stadium on Saturday, March 21.
