Jackson Klein’s Manhattan Jaspers fall to Sacred Heart in NCAA baseball matchup

Former Santa Monica High School standout Jackson Klein and the Manhattan Jaspers were defeated 22-7 by the Sacred Heart Pioneers in an NCAA Division I baseball contest held Friday, April 3, at 3 p.m.

The matchup, taking place at Clover Stadium, marked their second meeting with the Pioneers this season. The Jaspers also lost to Sacred Heart 8-7 in their earlier game on Thursday, April 2.

Klein pitched three innings, surrendering three earned runs and notching two strikeouts.

The Jaspers are set to face the Pioneers again on Saturday, April 4, at Clover Stadium.
