On Friday, March 6, the Grinnell Pioneers, which include former Pacifica Christian High School standout Tanner Deal, dropped their NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament contest to the John Carroll Blue Streaks, 86-118.
The matchup, held at Shirk Center at 4:10 p.m., marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
