At 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, Central Missouri Mules, featuring former Culver City High School standout Chase Wilcox, posted a 16-11 victory over the Newman Jets in NCAA Division II baseball play.
Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field served as the venue for the matchup, marking the season’s first contest between the Mules and the Jets.
Wilcox contributed with one hit in four at-bats, collecting one run, two RBIs, two walks and a strikeout.
The Mules are set to play their next game against the Newman Jets on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field.
