At 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, former Culver City High School standout Taylor Peacock and her California Golden Bears team fell 7-2 to the Duke Blue Devils in their NCAA Division I softball contest.
Levine-Fricke Field served as the venue for the contest, which marked the teams’ third meeting of the season. The Golden Bears were also defeated by the Blue Devils, 3-1, during their prior contest on Saturday, March 7.
Peacock allowed 5 earned runs in 2 innings of work and recorded 1 strikeout.
The Golden Bears are set to play Pacific Tigers at Bill Simoni Field at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
